Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most popular Reggae artists. He starred in the cult legendary film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix) and Sensimelia. They all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani performed with Praswell from Fugees for Avenue in 1997. It was a hugely hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley became the first artist to play on stage at Midem in Miami, an international showcase of music. Marley gave a concert on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other countries. Marley found himself in a bidding battle. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records. In the studio, he completed his collaboration with P.M. Dawn recorded Gotta be Movin' O
